Omaha high low is an interesting variation of
regular Omaha poker. The base of the game is
like Omaha poker and therefore if you don't know
how to play Omaha poker, it's recommended that
you will read the guide to Omaha poker. After
you know
how to
play Omaha poker, you can learn easily how
to play Omaha high low. Omaha high low lets two
winning hands to share the pot, the strongest
hand and the weakest hand.

To get a hand that will stand in the demand of
low hand, it must be composed of five close
cards that the highest of them is not higher
than 8. The winning low hand is decided by the
player with the lowest cards. In case of draw,
move on to the next weakest card and so on. In
case of draw in all the cards, when you can't
separate between the hands, each of the players
takes fourth of the pot.
If there is no low hand at all - the highest
hand takes all the pot! A player can take all
the pot if he has the lowest or the highest
hand, for example: A-2-3-4-5 or 2h-3h-5h-6h-8h.
Ace can be high and also low. The players can
use a different number of cards to create the
highest or lowest hand, or they can use the same
cards. Remember the game is like Omaha, each
player uses 2 cards from his hand and three that
are on the table to create the five cards for
him (highest/lowest).
The highest hand is of course like in regular
Omaha where the player needs to create the
strongest hand and so to defeat the other
players. If you don't have enough experience in
Omaha poker, it's recommended that you play some
games until you get the idea of the game, and
only then if you want to, you can start playing
Omaha high low.
The most important tip you will get is just to
read the guide and start playing – don't get
scared from the guide, the game only looks
