Omaha - a game that each player gets 4
cards, that only he sees, and share 5 cards with
all the players. The winning hand is composed of
two personal cards + three shared cards. You can

Omaha High/Low - a different version of
Omaha poker. In this version the pot divides
between the highest and the lowest hands. The
hand is composed of two personal cards + three
shared cards. The player can use different sets
to create a high or low hand. You can learn more
in the guide
how to play Omaha H/L.
On The Button - this definition says that
you are on the dealer position in the round. The
dealer is indicated by a disk with the letter D
in the center.
Option - relates to the option that is
given to the “big blind” player to raise before
the flop.
Pair - a hand composed from couple of
cards of the same value (with the same number).
Also called Two of a Kind.
Pass - can be used as check or fold,
depends on the game's situation.
Play Chips - the term relates to chips
that you play with on fake money and therefore
they don't have any value.
Playing The board - when you use all the
shown cards on the table (in Hold'em) to get the
best hand.
Pocket Cards - your two main cards given
to you in the beginning of the hand.
Pot - the pot where all the chips are
waiting to be taken by the winner in each hand.
Pot Limit - different betting variations
where every player can place bets until the pot
limit.
Profile - your user profile where you
will enter your information.
Rake - the sum of money (in chips) that
the house charges for service money.
Raise - an action of raising the bet's
amount of the previous gambler.
Rank - the cards rank, for example the
rank of 4 heart is 4, the value climbs from 2
until 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace. In High/Low
games the Ace counts as low rank (1) or high
(Ace).
Rebuy - to receive more chips during the
game but not when you play on real money.
Relates to tournament on real money.
Reducing - removing the chips from the
table and instead of them immediately putting
less chips. This action is considered as illegal
and is not allowed in Victor Chandler's poker
rooms.
Registration - when registering you will
choose a nickname for identifying in the poker
rooms, password, location, and email address.
River - the term relates to the fifth and
last card out of the shown cards. This card is
also called Fifth Street.
Round - relates to the card deal and the
bet that relates those cards. For example, after
dealing the River, the bet afterwards is called
Round.
Royal Flush - the best possible cards to
get. The hand will include 10, Jack, Queen,
King, Ace, all from the same kind.
Screen Name - your screen name, that you
will be identified with in the poker rooms.
Victor Chandler allows one name for each player
and therefore there might be taken names.
See - another name to Call. Sometimes
players will use this term, for example I see
your 10$ and raise you in 10$.
Server -
server or servers that provides the services to
all the users computers in the different poker
rooms.
